It's not just XP though, I'm at a point where credits have become my barrier. Even like that I've yet to even near a single tier 10, much less several of them. So the majority of those battles have gone into earning higher tier ships. With the exception of my Bogue, I don't really replay ships I've already completed very much. My question is how? I'm at a bit over 1700 random battles now, and my best is a single tier 9. Okay, so the majority of the playerbase does own a tier 10, and many own several. Also great torp reload means effective torp boat at volley every 68 seconds.(If this sounds like a complaint about grind it's not supposed to be at all, it's just something I want to understand.) Torped one and gunned down the other while dodging their torps. Z52 will eat Gearings lunch for cap contestation. It's the complete package.įor whatever it's worth in an opinion thread, I own all of the non-CV tier 10s except for the new Grozovoi. Kurfurst gives you similar DPM to the Montana, with secondaries better than Yamato, a mountain of hit points, and German Hydro to boot. It's the premier "support cruiser" while also being excellent on its own. The guns can be tricky for some players, but the AP is devastating at short and medium ranges, with good HE and fire chance as well. It brings Defensive Fire to the table as well, and is my favorite destroyer for divisioning.ĭes Moines combines excellent AA, Defensive Fire, radar, good concealment, and heavy firepower. Its firepower is good enough to wear down larger ships when needed, and has great torpedoes. Gearing has the concealment and close-range firepower to win any cap brawl, as long as it doesn't let a Khab dictate the range. Put them all in a division and the mutual support is fantastic. There are ships that are better or worse at spamming damage, but for winning games, give me Gearing, Des Moines, and G.
